Financial market data and content platform Santiment claims that ADA will record more than 140,000 events in 2021 in its GitHub code repository.
Kusama (KSM) and Polkadot (DOT) are the projects with the second and third highest development activity and are closely matched in terms of GitHub events.

According to data from Santiment, Ethereum ranks fourth with over 100,000 events.
Importantly, for the first time in history, a project focused on non-fungible tokens, Flow (FLOW), was included in the year-end development report, which, according to Santiment, highlighted “the meteoric growth of the NFT industry over the past year.”

In a Twitter post in late December, Cardano creator Charles Hoskinson revealed that there are 175 projects in development on Cardano, with a dozen or so to be launched by the end of the first quarter.
The increase in development activity was also reflected in the movement in the share price. In 2021, ADA, KSM, and DOT will grow by 647.3%, 299.35%, and 221.5%, respectively. ETH is up 281% over the same period.
